Demi Lune - Handmade Bronze Half Circle Pendant

This is the first in a new series of simple and chic jewelry pieces.

The focal of this necklace is a handmade Bronze half moon pendant (2-1/4" x 1"). This pendant started out as Bronze Clay*. The clay was conditioned, rolled, lightly hammered, cut out and refined. Once kiln fired at a high temperature for several hours, the solid bronze pendant was polished to attain a brushed effect.

The pendant is suspended from antiqued brass cable chain. The necklace closes with an antiqued brass lobster clasp and is approximately 28" long.

*BRONZclay™ consists of 11% tin, 89% copper, water and non-toxic binding materials. The binding materials vaporize completely during the kiln-firing process, leaving a solid bronze piece with a density 90% that of cast bronze. This precious metal is very hard and durable - making it perfect for jewelry!
