Handmade Bronze Curved Bar and Sterling Silver Necklace

This clean and simple design is perfect with everything.

The focal of this necklace is a handmade solid Bronze curved bar (2" x 1/4"). This pendant was created with Bronze Clay (BRONZclay*). The clay was conditioned, rolled, shaped, hammered, dried, refined and kiln fired at high temperatures. The resulting solid bronze piece was tumble and hand polished to achieve a brushed effect.

The bar is suspended by 4mm Freshwater Pearls to sterling silver delicate cable chain. This necklace closes with additional, pearls, sterling silver components and a sterling silver spring clasp. The necklace is approximately 18" long.

*BRONZclay consists of 11% tin, 89% copper, water and non-toxic binding materials. The binding materials vaporize completely during the kiln-firing process, leaving a solid bronze piece with a density 90% that of cast bronze. This precious metal is very hard and durable - making it perfect for jewelry!
